Class Overview

Our Baptism Preparatory Class provides a thorough exploration of the sacrament, guiding parents and godparents through its theological and liturgical dimensions. Notably, at St. Patrick's, baptisms are conducted in the extraordinary rite, infusing the class with a unique focus on the distinct liturgical practices observed at this particular parish.

Our instructors, well-versed in the subject, delve into the historical context and symbolic significance of baptism within the Catholic faith, while also addressing practical considerations such as ceremony logistics for baptisms that occur at St. Patrick's.

Classes are scheduled for the first Sunday of each month, meeting in our Rectory conference room. Advanced registration is required and is available online and through our Rectory office.

There is no cost to attend the class. Children must be accompanied by a parent. Digital certificates of completion are issued following the class.
