What is Confirmation?

Through the Sacrament of Confirmation, a baptized Christian receives the gift of the Holy Spirit in a deeper and more personal way. This sacrament strengthens the grace first given at Baptism and empowers the faithful to live more fully as witnesses of Christ in the world.
