Stewardship

Stewardship is classically defined as “the giving of your time, talent and treasure to something that you believe in.” In our opinion, even more than that, it’s feeling a  profound spiritual connection to a place and the people who inhabit it. The desire for that connection burns in every human heart; it’s how God has made us.

Christian service and material generosity organically pour out of that place within and drive everyone of good will to do what the Holy Spirit is asking of them.  We give our time and our talent and our treasure to St. Patrick’s not because we have to, but because this is the place where we encounter the living God and people with whom we love being in relationship. We have an amazing thing going on here. Let’s make sure its keeps going for generations to come.

Calculate Household Tithing

Use the calculator below to calculate your household tithing expressed as both a weekly and monthly giving amount.

Parishioners are prayerfull encouraged to tithe 10% of their household net income over the next 3-5 years to help our parish meet all of its financial obligations and achieve the goals of the Restoration Project.

Set Up Automatic Giving

Parishioners are encouraged to set up automatic giving which offers many benefits compared to cash and check donations.

  • Convenience: Automatic giving donations are scheduled in advance and offer unparalleled convenience. Set up payments to occur weekly or monthly, eliminating the need to remember to manually write and mail a check.

  • Faster Processing: Automatic giving donations are processed much faster than checks, which must be physically counted and deposited. Moreover, automatic giving donations ensure accuracy in payment amounts and associating a donation with a donor, reducing the risk of errors.
  • Help Office Staff: Counting loose cash and check offertory donations is a time-consuming manual process. By setting up automated giving donations, you'll be helping our lean office staff tremendously by reducing the amount of time and effort it takes to process offertory gifts.

If you need assistance setting up automatic payments, please call the parish office at (503) 222-4086.
