The Holy Eucharist
Welcoming our children to the Table of the Lord
First Holy Communion is one of the most joyful days in a child’s life — the day he or she first receives the Body and Blood of Christ in the Most Holy Eucharist, the source and summit of our faith.
Children are normally prepared to receive First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion once they have reached the age of reason — usually around seven years old, in the second grade or older.
Catechesis happens at 9:00 AM in the Rectory Office Conference Room from September to April. Please enter through the back door of the Rectory Office, passing through the gate between the Rectory Office and the Parish Hall.
Children baptized in another parish are warmly welcome. Please plan to bring or request a copy of your child’s baptismal certificate as part of enrollment.
